Sham on me! I've been too busy to allow myself the pleasure of posting my pictures. I have been taking pictures (and tons of them) but posting--well, I've got to make myself take the time to share my pictures. I want to become a better "picture taker" but I can't do that without posting my pictures. If anyone "sees" something they can share with me on perspective, light, etc....I welcome any advise or constructive criticism.

Fun Friday........A Loved One...........6/52

Here is my loved ONE....being a family of 5, of course everyone is loved so I would have loved to show a picture of my entire family. However, without this wonderful, kind-hearted, devoted man, my family wouldn't be what it is today. My husband, my loved one, has made all my dreams come true and continues to do everything in his power to make me happy. There just aren't enough words to describe how much I love this man. He has stood by me in the good times (there are many)as well as the bad times (helping me fight cancer). He is there to laugh with me as well as offering a shoulder to cry on; he listens to me complain about work while offering advice when he sees a way to help. When God was handing out husbands, I was blessed!

Friday's Photo--the color of love....................5/52

Here is my Friday Photo- the color of love. Obviously, red and white represent love (and Valentines Day) ; red roses, red hearts. But this photo also represents my love of donuts;of which I no longer eat because I am an adult and I know the nutritional value of donuts...ugh! sometimes it's no fun being an adult.

Anyway, red and white...those are the colors I "see" when I think of the color of love.

My neighbors car describes how my family and I felt when we found out we were not having school today and had plenty of snow to play in. YEAH!! It's always nice to find out you've got an extra day (or in this case, two days) off from work (don't forget I'm a teacher)/school.
However, on the flip side, we've just found out we've got ANOTHER day off from school tomorrow. UGHHH! I'm starting to think we'll be in school until the end of June. While having days off from school is nice, at some point we've GOT to get back to school. I'm starting to worry my students are going to forget what I've taught them for their upcoming test. And now the weather man is actually calling for more freezing rain/sleet/snow on Friday. Don't get me wrong...I love snow! I just prefer to go TO the snow, ski, and then go BACK home. Enough whinning....
